SMS Opt-In & Consent
This page documents exactly how YepLock collects your consent to receive text messages, the disclosure you see, and how that consent is recorded.
The consent checkbox
Customers and providers opt in to SMS by checking an unchecked-by-default consent box. The box appears during sign-up, provider onboarding, and checkout. This is exactly what users see:
Checking this box is the affirmative opt-in. Phone numbers are never added to SMS without this explicit action by the user.
The disclosure
Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
